TRAPPEY'S HOT SAUCE

How do people in Fort Worth not know about Trappey's Hot Sauce?  For the second time in two weeks, my friends have not known what I'm talking about.  I could understand if they were from New York, but one is from Paris (Paris, Texas) and one is from Weatherford.

I asked them, "What do you put on your greens?"  Then, I tried to explain what it was in case they just didn't know the name.  It's just tabasco peppers covered with vinegar.  When I was a kid, my mom would refill the bottle with vinegar several times before buying a new bottle.  I think it's worth the money (97 cents) to go buy a new bottle, so it's hot and not just sour.  It's available at Central Market, but they don't have it at Target.

I put it on my greens and weirdly, I like it on Starkist Albacore Tuna instead of lemon juice.  Sometimes I dig the peppers out to make a Chicago Dog, since I can't find sport peppers in this town.
